The lid to the cooker was closed, but did not latch. Approximately 5 minutes into the cooking cycle, the pressure inside the cooker caused the lid to open and grease, heated to 350 degrees, splattered on two employees. The first employee was hospitalized for second degree burns to her back and neck.
