Abstract
The FAA is amending its regulations to bring them into conformance with recent legislation prohibiting smoking aboard all aircraft in scheduled passenger interstate or intrastate air transportation and scheduled passenger foreign air transportation. This rule is being issued with a related DOT rule on smoking, which is published elsewhere in today's issue.
