Abstract
This amendment adopts a new airworthiness directive (AD), applicable to all Dornier Model 328-300 series airplanes, that requires revising the Airplane Flight Manual. This action is necessary to prevent an undetected dragging parking brake, and consequent decreased acceleration during the takeoff roll, increased takeoff distance, and possible runway overrun. This action is intended to address the identified unsafe condition.
