## Abstract

These special conditions are issued for the Bombardier Model CL-600-2C10 series airplanes. This new airplane will have a novel or unusual design feature associated with an Automatic Takeoff Thrust Control System (ATTCS). The applicable airworthiness regulations do not contain appropriate safety standards for approach climb performance using an ATTCS. These special conditions contain the additional safety standards the Administrator considers necessary to establish a level of safety equivalent to that established by the existing airworthiness standards.
