## Abstract

This action establishes Class E airspace at Whitesburg, KY. A Global Positioning System (GPS) Standard Instrument Approach Procedure (SIAP), helicopter point in space approach, has been developed for Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital, Whitesburg, KY. As a result, additional controlled airspace extending upward from 700 feet Above Ground Level (AGL) is needed to accommodate the SIAP and for Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) operations at Whitesburg Appalachian Hospital.
