Abstract
This action establishes Class E airspace at Tipton Airport, Fort Meade, MD. Development of Standard Instrument Approach Procedures (SIAP), to serve flights operating into the Tipton Airport under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) has made this action necessary. Controlled airspace extending upward from 700 feet Above Ground Level (AGL) is needed to contain aircraft executing the approach to the Tipton Airport.
