Abstract
This action modifies the Class E airspace area at Osceola, IA. A review of controlled airspace for Osceola Municipal Airport indicates it does not comply with the criteria for 700 feet Above Ground Level (AGL) airspace required for diverse departures as specified in FAA Order 7400.2E, Procedures for Handling Airspace Matters. The review also reveals that the north extension to the Class E airspace area is not required to protect existing Instrument Approach Procedures (IAPs) serving Osceola Municipal Airport. The area is modified to conform to the criteria in FAA Order 7400.2E.
