Special Conditions: Boeing Model 777 Series Airplanes; Overhead Crew Rest Compartments

These final special conditions are for Boeing Model 777 series airplanes. This airplane will have novel or unusual design features associated with the installation of an overhead flightcrew rest and an overhead flight attendant rest. The applicable airworthiness regulations do not contain adequate or appropriate safety standards for these design features. These special conditions contain the additional safety standards that the Administrator considers necessary to establish a level of safety equivalent to that established by the existing airworthiness standards.
