## Abstract

Plattsmouth, NE nondirectional radio beacon (NDB) has been relocated and new NDB Standard Instrument Approach Procedures (SIAPs) have been developed to serve Plattsmouth Municipal Airport. An examination of controlled airspace for Plattsmouth, NE revealed discrepancies in the Plattsmouth Municipal Airport airport reference point and in the legal description for the Plattsmouth, NE Class E airspace area. The examination also revealed that this airspace area does not provide adequate airspace for diverse departures. This action provides controlled airspace of appropriate dimensions to protect aircraft departing Plattsmouth Municipal Airport in instrument weather conditions and aircraft executing SIAPs to the airport. It also corrects discrepancies in the legal descriptions of the Plattsmouth, NE Class E airspace and brings the airspace area and legal description into compliance with FAA Orders.
