Abstract
This action modifies the Class E airspace area at Fort Scott, KS. A review of controlled airspace for Fort Scott Municipal Airport indicates it does not comply with the criteria for 700 feet Above Ground Level (AGL) airspace required for diverse departures. The controlled airspace extension for protecting arriving aircraft was also found to be inaccurately defined. The area is modified to conform to the criteria in FAA Orders.
