Abstract
This action modifies the Class E airspace area at Colby, KS. A review of controlled airspace for Shaltz Field indicates it does not comply with the criteria for 700 feet Above Ground Level (AGL) airspace required for diverse departures. The dimensions of controlled airspace for protecting arriving aircraft were also found to be inaccurate. The area is modified to conform to the criteria in FAA Order 7400.2E.
