## Abstract

This final rule implements the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act of 1990, as amended by the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996. The rule adjusts for inflation the amount of each statutory civil penalty subject to the Federal Aviation Administration's jurisdiction in accordance with the requirements of the Act, as amended.
