## Abstract

These special conditions are for the Empresa Brasileira de Aeronautica S.A., (EMBRAER) Model EMB-145 airplane. This airplane will have a novel or unusual design feature associated with thrust reversers as optional equipment. These special conditions contain the additional safety standards which the Administrator considers necessary to establish a level of safety equivalent to that established by the airworthiness standards of part 25 of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR).
