## Abstract

This amendment adopts a new airworthiness directive (AD), applicable to certain Dornier Model 328-100 series airplanes, that requires modifying the main landing gear (MLG) bay areas by installing additional slush protection covers in those areas. This amendment is prompted by the identification of a problem during flight test analysis, which indicated that slush can accumulate in the MLG bay areas. The actions specified by this AD are intended to prevent the accumulation of slush in the MLG bay areas, which could freeze and interfere with the landing gear or render it inoperative.
