## Abstract

This amendment adopts a new airworthiness directive (AD), applicable to certain de Havilland Model DHC-8-100, -200, and -300 series airplanes, that requires modification of the lever assembly of the roll disconnect system. This amendment is prompted by mandatory continuing airworthiness information by a foreign civil airworthiness authority. The actions specified by this AD are intended to prevent uncommanded disconnects of the roll control system, which could result in a limited degree of roll control and consequent reduced controllability of the airplane.
