## Abstract

This amendment establishes Class E airspace at Johnson City, TX. The development of two global positioning system (GPS) standard instrument approach procedures (SIAP) to the Harris Ranch Airport at Johnson City, TX, has made this rule necessary. This action is intended to provide adequate controlled airspace extending upward from 700 feet or more above the surface for instrument flight rules (IFR) operations to the Harris Ranch Airport, Johnson City, TX.
