## Abstract

This action establishes Class E airspace surface area at Davenport, IA. The FAA received a request to establish a Class E airspace surface area at Davenport Municipal Airport, Davenport, IA. The commissioning of the Davenport Automated Surface Observation System (ASOS) qualified the Davenport Municipal Airport for a Class E airspace surface area. The airport meets the minimum communications and weather observations and reporting requirements for controlled airspace extending upward from the surface. A minor correction is also being made in the text header for Davenport, IA.
