## Abstract

This amendment adopts a new airworthiness directive (AD), applicable to certain Aerospatiale Model SN 601 (Corvette) series airplanes, that requires repetitive inspections to detect discrepancies of the upper and lower reinforcement panels and panel fasteners of the wing roots; and corrective actions, if necessary. This amendment is prompted by issuance of mandatory continuing airworthiness information by a foreign civil airworthiness authority. The actions specified by this AD are intended to prevent debonding of the upper and lower reinforcement panels of the wing roots, which could result in reduced structural integrity of the wing.
