Abstract
This action amends Class E airspace extending upward from 700 feet Above Ground Level (AGL) at Poughkeepsie, NY. The development of Standard Instrument Approach Procedures (SIAP) based on the Global Positioning System (GPS) at Sky Acres Airport has made this action necessary. This action is intended to provide adequate Class E airspace for instrument flight rules (IFR) operations by aircraft executing the GPS RWY 17 SIAP and GPS RWY 35 SIAP to Sky Acres Airport.
