## Abstract

This amendment adopts a new airworthiness directive (AD), applicable to certain Honeywell IC-600 integrated avionics computers, that requires modification of the integrated avionics computers. This amendment is prompted by a report of integrated avionics computer failures, which caused a ``random reset'' condition of the electronic flight instrument system. The actions specified by this AD are intended to prevent such ``random reset'' conditions, which could affect the pilot's ability to control the airplane.
