## Abstract

We are adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for the products listed above. This AD results from mandatory continuing airworthiness information (MCAI) originated by an aviation authority of another country to identify and correct an unsafe condition on an aviation product. The MCAI describes the unsafe condition as: * * * * * [B]ogie beam internal paint has been degraded, leading to a loss of cadmium plating and thus allowing development of corrosion pitting. If not corrected, this situation under higher speed could result in the aircraft departing the runway or in the bogie [beam] detaching from the aircraft or [main landing] gear collapses, which would constitute an unsafe condition. * * * * * We are issuing this AD to require actions to correct the unsafe condition on these products.
