## Abstract

NMFS issues an inseason adjustment prohibiting retention of Atka mackerel in the Aleutian Islands subarea of the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands management area (BSAI). This action is necessary to prevent overfishing of the sharpchin/northern rockfish species group.
