CDC NCHS estimates of excess deaths — observed mortality minus the expected baseline — 56,700 rows by jurisdiction, week, and cause. The dataset that quantified the true mortality burden of the COVID-19 pandemic (including deaths not directly attributed to COVID) and continues to track all-cause and cause-specific excess mortality by state.
