Every (hospital × HCAHPS survey question) result from CMS Care Compare — roughly 326,000 records. HCAHPS (Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) is the national patient-experience survey. Per row: facility ID (CCN), facility name, state, HCAHPS measure ID, the survey question, the answer description, the answer percent (top-box / middle / bottom-box), the linear mean value, the number of completed surveys, and the survey response rate. The authoritative federal record of what patients say about every US hospital — nurse/doctor communication, responsiveness, cleanliness, quietness, discharge information, care transition, and overall rating.
