Until 2018 these were technically restricted to congressional staff; now publicly available. Series breakdown: **R 6,895 (full reports), RL 4,280 (legacy long reports), IF 3,198 (In Focus 2-page briefs), RS 2,433 (short reports), IN 2,360 (Insights), LSB 1,365 (Legal Sidebars)**, plus older 98-/97-/96-/95- numbered series. Every issue Congress considers gets a CRS analysis — defense, healthcare, immigration, tax policy, foreign affairs, science/tech, environment, judiciary, civil rights.
