Every entity in the CMS Open Payments database — Sunshine Act-mandated disclosures of pharmaceutical and medical device payments to US physicians and teaching hospitals. **Physicians (~30k top-paid)**: every doctor with >= $5,000 lifetime general payments OR >= $50k research grants, ranked by total amount with NPI, specialty, city, state. **Teaching Hospitals (1,470)**: every Medicare-certified teaching hospital that receives industry payments. **Reporting Entities (2,900)**: every pharma/device manufacturer required to report (Merck, Pfizer, Stryker, Medtronic, etc.). Pre-aggregated by year via DKAN API. Source: openpaymentsdata.cms.gov/api/1/datastore/query (no auth). The Sunshine Act exists because this data WAS hidden from the public — we expose every dollar.
