## Abstract

The Director of Defense Procurement has issued an interim rule amending the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to implement Section 8064 of the DoD Appropriations Act for Fiscal year 2001 and Section 805 of the DoD Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2001. These laws place restrictions on the acquisition of vessel propellers and ball and roller bearings from foreign sources.
