## Abstract

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council (Councils) are issuing a final rule to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to implement the specific requirements of Executive Order 13126, Prohibition of Acquisition of Products Produced by Forced or Indentured Child Labor, as well as to prescribe further appropriate actions to comply with the broad policy of the Executive Order (i.e., to enforce laws prohibiting the manufacture or importation of products that have been mined, produced, or manufactured wholly or in part using forced or indentured child labor).
