## Abstract

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council (Councils) have agreed to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to provide for consistent use of the term "contract action" and to make other editorial changes to clarify the text.
