## Abstract

The Department of Defense (Department or DoD) is issuing a final rule to amend its regulations to exempt portions of the system of records titled DoD-0010, "Counterintelligence Functional Services" from certain provisions of the Privacy Act of 1974 because of national security, law enforcement, and employment suitability mission areas.
