## Abstract

This rule establishes the criteria for nominating an acquisition program as a participant in the Defense Acquisition Pilot Program, the procedures for designation under the pilot program, and the policies related to requests for statutory and regulatory relief to be granted under the pilot program. This part implements the provisions of Section 809 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1991, as amended by the National Defense Authorization Act of FY 1994.
