Abstract
The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council have agreed on a final rule amending the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to reflect a preference for commercial contract quality requirements, rather than Federal or military specifications, and to permit greater flexibility in specifying higher-level contract quality requirements.
