## Abstract

The Director of Defense Procurement has issued an interim rule amending the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to implement Section 8092 of the National Defense Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 1998 and Section 804 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1998 concerning the reimbursement of external restructuring costs associated with a business combination.
