Abstract
The Director of Defense Procurement has issued a final rule amending the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to add procedures for reporting payment information to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS); to revise the procedures for obtaining Taxpayer Identification Numbers (TINs) and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) codes when contractors are required to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database; and to make editorial changes.
