Abstract
The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council (Councils) have agreed on a final rule amending the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to reduce the subcontractor information that the FAR requires a contractor to provide to its cognizant contract administration office (CAO) when requesting the CAO to perform administration for Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) matters.
