## Abstract

The Director of Defense Procurement has issued a final rule amending the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to implement Section 808 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2000. Section 808 provides for a 3-year extension of the percentage goal for contract awards to small disadvantaged businesses and certain institutions of higher education.
