## Abstract

This rule revises the National Security Agency/Central Security Services (NSA/CSS) regulation governing disclosure of information under the Freedom of Information Reform Act of 1986. As a component of the Department of Defense, the Departmental rules and schedules with respect to the Freedom of Information Reform Act will also be the policy of the NSA/CSS. The effect of the revised rule is to conform to the requirements of the Electronic Freedom of Information Act Amendments of 1996. It also incorporates guidance provided by the Department of Defense on implementation of this amended law.
