## Abstract

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council (Councils) have agreed on an interim rule amending the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to implement sections of the Small Business Reauthorization Act of 1997. The sections of the Act define ``contract bundling,'' and require agencies to avoid unnecessary bundling that precludes small business participation in the performance of Federal contracts.
