Abstract
The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council have agreed on a final rule amending the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to remove the requirement to include the clause at FAR 52.211-16, Variation in Quantity, in fixed- price solicitations and contracts that do not permit a variation in the quantity of supplies furnished under the contract.
