## Abstract

The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) is revising a limited number of the regulations to implement Executive Order 11246, as amended, which prohibits employment discrimination and establishes affirmative action requirements for nonexempt Federal contractors and subcontractors. The final rule revises the regulations relating to record retention, compliance monitoring, maintenance of non-segregated facilities, and other aspects of enforcement. The revisions to the Executive Order implementing regulations effected by this final rule are expected to reduce the compliance burdens of covered contractors, and improve the efficiency of OFCCP in administering and enforcing the Executive Order.
