## Abstract

In June 2003, NHTSA published a response to petitions for reconsideration of earlier final rules amending Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 225, Child Restraint Anchorage Systems. Subsequently, the agency received several petitions asking us to reconsider, correct or clarify some aspects of the June 2003 final rule. This document responds to those petitions. In addition, this document denies a request made in a petition for reconsideration to allow stowable (or "fold-away") lower anchors past September 1, 2004.
