## Abstract

In this final rule, NHTSA rescinds the Federal motor vehicle safety standard that regulates the reflectivity of specified metallic components located in front of the driver. This action is part of the agency's efforts to implement the President's Regulatory Reinvention Initiative. In issuing this rule, the agency concludes that rescinding the standard will not adversely affect motor vehicle safety.
