This document corrects the technical amendment to S581.5(c)(1) of 49 CFR part 581 Bumper Standard, published on April 5, 1999. The technical amendment erroneously referred to ``Table 2'' of SAE J599 AUG97. The correct reference is to ``Table 1.''
