## Abstract

The Department of Energy (DOE) is amending procedures for making final determinations of eligibility for access to classified matter and/or special nuclear material. The purpose of the amendments is to ensure that DOE procedures in this regard conform to the access eligibility determination provisions in Part 5 of Executive Order 12968, "Access to Classified Information," signed by the President in August 1995.
