Abstract
Pursuant to Part C of title III of the Energy Policy and Conservation Act (EPCA), the Department of Energy (DOE or the Department) promulgates a rule prescribing test procedures to rate the energy efficiency of commercial packaged boilers and definitions relevant to this equipment. The rule also recodifies energy conservation standards prescribed by EPCA for commercial packaged boilers so that they are located contiguous with the test procedures that DOE promulgates today.
