## Abstract

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is amending its emergency planning regulations governing the domestic licensing of production and utilization facilities. The final rule amends the current regulations as they relate to NRC approval of licensee changes to Emergency Action Levels (EALs). The final rule also clarifies exercise requirements for co-located licensees. These amendments are intended to resolve an inconsistency and an ambiguity in current regulations.
