Abstract

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is amending its regulations to add the NUHOMS[supreg] HD cask system to the list of approved spent fuel storage casks. This direct final rule allows the holders of power reactor operating licenses to store spent fuel in this approved cask system under a general license.
