## Abstract

The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Fossil Energy (FE) will act on applications and amendments requesting to export domestically produced natural gas--including liquefied natural gas (LNG), compressed natural gas, and compressed gas liquid--from the lower-48 states to non-free trade agreement (non-FTA) countries for a term ending on December 31, 2050, discontinuing its practice of issuing standard 20-year export terms. In this Final Policy Statement, DOE responds to the 22 public comments received on the Proposed Policy Statement and describes the implementation process for long-term non- FTA authorization holders and applicants to request this term extension, and for DOE to adjudicate each request.
