Abstract
The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EE) is today issuing a final rule to implement a renewable energy production incentive program in response to the requirements of section 1212 of the Energy Policy Act of 1992. This program provides for incentive payments to owners or operators of qualified renewable energy facilities, subject to the availability of appropriations. This rule contains procedures for application, qualification requirements, procedures for calculation of incentive payments, and administrative remedies.
