The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is amending its regulations to eliminate the requirement for applicants for power reactor, Category I fuel cycle, and spent fuel storage licenses to submit physical security plans in two parts. This action is necessary to allow for a quicker and more efficient review of the physical security plans.
